The Heart of Richmond AIDS Society welcomes donations from those who are interested in supporting our goal to end the stigma against HIV and provide services to the Richmond community. Every penny matters!

The Heart of Richmond provides the following set of services for those affected by and living with HIV:

  • Bi-weekly support groups and one-on-one support.
  • Grocery assistance program for low-income members in Richmond.
  • Supplemental Health Fund that covers medical expenses not part of health plans (dentistry, ophthalmology,  nutritional and health awareness).
  • Monthly dinners and social activities.
  • Advocacy for health care, housing and benefits applications.

The Heart of Richmond AIDS Society welcomes donations from those who are interested in supporting our goal to end the stigma against HIV and provide services to the Richmond community. Every penny matters!

Your donations help seniors, single parents, and young adults on low incomes who are dealing with HIV. These are people who may not have a job and/or may be on disability living below the poverty line. Please use the form below to make your secure online donation on our online portal through Canada Helps. You will receive a tax receipt for donations of $20 or more directly through Canada Helps.

Donations allow us to provide grocery gift cards and items that are needed the most, such as compass cards, supplements such as vitamins, blankets, coats and other needed everyday household staples. For each dollar donated, $12 a week goes to a member or family to help them sustain an above-poverty level of living.

Here’s how you can help provide assistance to Richmond residents going through financial difficulties:

  • Donate online through Canada Helps or over the phone by credit card at (604) 277-5137.
  • Mail cheques made out to The Heart of Richmond AIDS Society (303-6411 Buswell Street, Richmond, BC, V6Y 2G5).
  • You can also donate cash or cheques in person. 
  • By e-Transfer to admin@heartofrichmond.com.

We are a registered charity and can provide a tax receipt for $20 or more.
