One-on-One Support

Our one-on-one support services provide advocacy to those living with HIV and their family, friends and caregivers with the help of our Outreach Worker. Each member receives an individualized plan fitted to their current needs and is re-evaluated regularly to ensure members’ goals are being met. Through our strengths-based, member-centered approach, we focus on helping members help themselves and improving their quality of life. One-on-one resources include:

  • Applications/referrals for subsidized housing.
  • Assistance with PWD and CPPD applications.
  • Advocacy and liaising with other service providers to ensure our members are receiving the appropriate support.

We also work closely with the Gilwest and Oaktree Clinics, as well as numerous other community social service agencies in the Metro Vancouver area. To get in touch with our Outreach Worker, please contact us.
